With what there is, and in half an hour
Sounds like a description of a sport, but is instead a way of cooking. One in which I found myself last night. The menu consisted resulting in a cheerful dish of
- Mexican rice, shaped mound and topped with onions (two, one white and one red) caramelized with mustard seeds
- Salmon (frozen) before stew with some carrots, then lightly floured and fried to get some 'of crust. Lemon slice on top.
- sauce of carrots (those of the salmon) blend together a bit 'raw garlic,
- worked butter with lemon juice and dill (

obviously we are in the house a little 'spice base ...
